Here was a spa resort called Hierapolis in the Roman Empire.

It's designated as a UNESCO world heritage site for Hierapolis-Pamukkale.

 Uchisar, Cappadocia       The interesting rocks sites formed by erosion.

Holes on rocks are pigeon nests.  The pigeon's droppings are used as manure.

Cappadocia is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for Göreme National Park and the Rock Sites of Cappadocia.
